How do I do a first time bulk import of users into Cakewalk?

Best Path: Connect Your HRIS or IdP

  • Go to Settings → Data Sources → Users

  • Select your HRIS or IdP (e.g. Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace, Workday, BambooHR)

  • Authenticate with an admin account and approve requested scopes

  • Save to start the initial import; automated sync runs after that

What Happens Next:

  • Cakewalk imports users and keeps your User Directory in sync automatically

  • Ongoing sync runs on a schedule; joiner/mover/leaver events can trigger workflows in real time

Alternate Path
