What should I do if a permission level is unavailable for auto-provisioning?

If you are unable to select or provision a specific permission level within Cakewalk, it is usually due to one of the following two reasons:

1. Third-Party App Restrictions

Some integrations limit which permission levels can be granted.

The Indicator: Only permission levels marked with the Cakewalk Icon support auto-provisioning.

The Solution: If a level is greyed out, it must be assigned directly within the third-party application’s own admin console.

2. Naming Mismatches

Agent Cake uses exact string matching to sync permissions between systems. If the name of the permission level in Cakewalk does not match the name in the third-party app character-for-character, the sync will fail.

The Solution: Ensure the permission name in the destination app matches the label used in Cakewalk exactly.
