Can Agent Cake sign in to apps that use Google, Microsoft or SSO login?

Agent Cake can sign in to an app in four ways:

• Username and password, plus an authenticator code if the app uses two factor authentication.

• Sign in with Google, using a Google account you connect once.

• Sign in with Microsoft, using a Microsoft account you connect once.

• Email codes or magic links, which Agent Cake reads from a connected inbox.

Apps with Google or Microsoft login

If an app lets people log in with Google or Microsoft, Agent Cake can often use that login too. When you configure the app, the Sign-in method step shows the options that app supports. If the step does not appear, the app takes a username and password only. Each app's integration guide lists what it supports.

The Google or Microsoft account must:

• Be able to sign in with a password. Accounts that only use passkeys or security keys will not work.

• Have an authenticator app set up. Cakewalk asks for its secret key when you connect the account. Agent Cake enters the code itself and cannot approve a prompt on a phone.

• Have the rights to create users and assign roles in the app.

Use a dedicated account rather than a person's own login.

Connect an account

Go to Settings > Account > Auto provisioning and click Connect on the Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft card. Then pick the account on the app's Sign-in method step.

Apps that only allow your company's own SSO

Agent Cake cannot sign in through a SAML identity provider. If an app only allows login through your company's SSO, check whether it also allows a username and password for one account. If it does, create a dedicated account with a password for Agent Cake.
